I was born and raised in a small town in Deep South, U.S.A. My undergraduate years were spent at two institutions moving from engineering to music and finally to Bible. After graduating from Columbia International University, serving in church ministry for several years, ministering cross-culturally for a year, and getting married, I attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity with a focus in International Church Planting.
Since the late 1990’s I have served with the International Mission Board in Central Asia. During this time I also completed a PhD in Missions at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. My dissertation was published in the EMS dissertation series under the title “A Theological Analysis of the Insider Movement Paradigm from Four Perspectives: Theology of Religions, Revelation, Soteriology and Ecclesiology.”
I currently continue to serve under the IMB in Central Asia with my wife and children.
